“WHO CARES” esamina le tensioni che si creano tra ciò che la società ci impone e ciò che consideriamo buono in relazione ai nostri bisogni e desideri. Partendo da una riflessione sul tema della cura e attraverso un’analisi della identità personale, del genere e dell’invecchiamento si interroga su come forze esterne (come le norme, gli stereotipi sociali, ma anche le politiche pubbliche) possano influenzare le percezioni e le azioni personali.
[WHO CARES] “WHO CARES” examines the tensions created between what we regard good for ourselves and for our bodies based on our personal needs and desires and what society imposes and dictates to us. Through reflecting on the topic of care and through the lens of personal identity, gender and ageing it questions how external forces such as social norms and stereotypes but also public policies can influence personal perceptions and actions.
