Una madre stende i panni della figlia. Li lava, li rilava. Ogni giorno lo stesso gesto, come una preghiera, un rito che non riesce – o non vuole – interrompere. Tra quei tessuti riaffiora la voce, la vita spezzata di sua figlia: Annalisa. ‘A Stesa è un atto di memoria, è Ispirata alla vera storia di Annalisa Durante, vittima innocente di camorra. Attraversa il dolore privato di una madre, quindi di chi resta, e lo trasforma in denuncia pubblica. Il titolo si fonda sul doppio significato del termine: la “stesa” come gesto quotidiano e familiare di stendere i panni al sole, e la “stesa” come azione criminale che semina terrore nei quartieri.
A mother hangs out her daughter’s clothes. She washes them, washes them again. Every day the same gesture, like a prayer, a ritual she cannot — or will not — interrupt. Among those fabrics, the voice resurfaces, the shattered life of her daughter: Annalisa. ’A Stesa is an act of remembrance. It is inspired by the true story of Annalisa Durante, an innocent victim of the Camorra. It moves through a mother’s private grief — the grief of those left behind — and transforms it into a public act of accusation. The title rests on the word’s double meaning: “stesa” as the everyday domestic act of hanging laundry out to dry in the sun, and “stesa” as a criminal shooting intended to spread terror through the neighborhoods.
